My name is Cheryl Griffin and I am a Registered Marriage Celebrant and Justice of the Peace living on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula.  It gives me great pleasure to officiate at weddings, commitment, renewal and naming ceremonies and I would love to hear from you so that we can plan your perfect day together.

The Three “P’s” – Personable, Professional and Prompt

The “Three P’s” are the personal code under which I conduct myself.  I am personable and friendly and love chatting to couples about what they want for a wedding and how they would like to see it conducted.  I believe that my clients are the focus for the day and that everything possible should be done to make their special day as enjoyable and stress free as possible.  I am happy to make myself available by phone call, email or in person whenever they feel the need to contact me.

I regard myself as a professional and follow the Commonwealth of Australia, Marriage Celebrant Code of Practice.  I am also a member of the Association of Civil Marriage Celebrants of Victoria and have access to their professional assistance if it should ever be needed.

I undertake to provide a ceremony that is thoughtful and sincere and includes extensive collaboration with the special couple.  I was a TAFE teacher in my previous employment and know the importance of preparation.
 
My desire to be prompt ensures that I arrive at the wedding venue well before the agreed time.  The Code of Practice stipulates that a Celebrant arrive 20 minutes before a ceremony but I prefer to arrive earlier so that I do not have to rush as I arrange the setting and position my audio equipment to that agreed upon at rehearsal.
